Dr Tyler photo

Dr Tyler Loxley, Chiropractor

Point Cook Location

Dr Tyler relocated from the Sunshine Coast in Southeast Queensland to follow his childhood dream of becoming a chiropractor.

Read more about Tyler »

After spending a large majority of his teenage life playing soccer at a high level he experienced many of the issues most growing athletes do. After a suggestion from a family friend, he saw a chiropractor for a groin injury that was not subsiding. The impressive technique and effective treatment of this injury planted the seed into his subconscious and over the years this grew into an overwhelming passion.

After showing interest in the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC) at the age of 14 he was accepted and the plan was set in stone. Due to unforeseen circumstances this plan never came to fruition. Disappointed, he gathered his wits and applied for the Melbourne-based chiropractic course at RMIT. Five years and a gap year later he graduated at the tail-end of 2019 with a Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic).

Dr Tyler’s primary focus is on the prevention and maintenance of chronic posture-related issues. He believes in a thorough understanding of the importance of posture in combination with chiropractic treatment and muscle rehabilitation. He has acquired the most up-to-date techniques based on what current research indicates are the most effective.

Musculoskeletal issues are a strong suit for all chiropractors and Dr. Tyler is no exception to this fact. His goals are to improve function to accommodate to patient’s goals, reduce pain to improve quality of life, and prevent further injuries through patient education in everyday biomechanics. When he’s not working, Tyler has a strong desire to socialise and spend time around the people he loves. He has a passion for learning and always striving to be the best version of himself.

Dr Tyler is available for consultations at our Point Cook clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
